About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Feed Mill Incharge to oversee our feed mill operations. This critical role involves managing daily production activities, ensuring quality control, and optimizing the feed production process to meet the company’s high standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in feed production and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the feed mill, ensuring timely and efficient production of high-quality poultry feed.
Manage inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate with suppliers to ensure uninterrupted production.
Implement and monitor quality control standards to maintain feed consistency and quality.
Supervise a team of production staff, providing training and guidance to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Monitor and adjust machinery, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with maintenance for repairs as needed.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate production records, prepare reports, and work closely with the management team to meet production goals.
Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to identify areas for process improvement.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in feed production or a related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Feed Technology, or a related field.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of feed production processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with feed production software.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
