About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Hatchery Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Khadkeshwara Farms & Foods Pvt Ltd. As a Hatchery Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the hatchery, ensuring the successful incubation and hatching of quality chicks. You will manage hatchery staff, monitor the health of the eggs, and maintain the environment to meet optimal hatching conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the entire hatchery process, from egg collection to chick hatching.
Ensure the incubation equipment is functioning properly and meet required conditions for hatching.
Monitor temperature, humidity, and other environmental factors to ensure optimal hatchability.
Supervise hatchery staff, providing training and guidance on best practices.
Maintain strict biosecurity protocols to prevent contamination and disease.
Perform regular quality checks and troubleshoot any issues that arise in the hatching process.
Coordinate with the farm management team to track production metrics and improve hatchery performance.
Maintain accurate records of hatchery operations and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Agriculture, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in hatchery operations or poultry farm management.
Skills:
Strong understanding of hatchery processes, incubation technology, and poultry management.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of biosecurity measures and disease prevention.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with incubation equipment.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a hatchery environment and handle physical tasks.
